Dr. Mullins is one of the founders of the Advanced Surgical Group.  He has been one of the pre-eminent surgeons in the Northwest Atlanta area for some 35 years.  He centered his practice at Kennestone Hospital many years ago, and his practice flourished as Kennestone grew to become one of the top 100 hospitals in the United States.  Dr. Mullins has served on a multitude of national committees and boards, and is a well-known figure in surgical circles.  Dr. Mullins established his practice based on the principles of excellence in the operating room and excellence in patient care, with an emphasis on the needs of his patients and their families.  These are the principles and high standards upon which the Advanced Surgical Group is founded, and Dr. Mullins continues to be the backbone of the Group in the maintenance of these principles and standards.
