We performed our first laparoscopic anti-reflux procedure in 1991.  Subsequently we have performed over 1,500 laparoscopic anti-reflux surgeries.  Our experience reveals the surgery to be safe and effective.  We individualize the surgery to best serve our patient.  We perform either complete fundoplications (Nissen) and partial fundoplications (O'Reilly-Mullins Procedure).  We now routinely use mesh in the repair of hiatal hernias.
